Orthopedic Associates is pleased to welcome an additional physician to their practice. John Wallington, MD, is a Board Certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician. His interests include non-operative treatment of neck and back pain including therapies, non-opioid medications, and injection-based therapies such as epidurals, radio frequency ablations, and deep joint injections under fluoroscopic guidance. Dr. Wallington is now seeing patients at Orthopedic Associates in Cherry Creek. The practice welcomes Dr. Wallington, as his specialties complement and further strengthen the quality and depth of care provided by Orthopedic Associates.
About Dr. Wallington
Dr. Wallington is a native of Ann Arbor, Michigan. He attended the University of Michigan where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in Biochemistry and was awarded with the Perrigo Fellowship to pursue research in drug discovery for anti-fungal and anti-microbial medications. He subsequently attended the University of Toledo College of Medicine where he completed his degree in medicine. He then completed his internship and residency at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI. In his final year he served as chief resident. He then pursued a fellowship in Spine Medicine at Cleveland Clinic. He has previously worked in Boston prior to joining Orthopedic Associates.
Dr. Wallington is well suited to treat Denver patients and looking forward to all Colorado has to offer. Dr. Wallington enjoys golf, tennis, hiking with his dog, as well as spending time with family and friends.
