Orthopedic Associates’ Dr. Brian J. Larkin received the FAAOS (stands for Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons) designation. This designation is only awarded to orthopedic surgeons that are leaders in musculoskeletal health. That certainly describes That certainly describes Dr. Brian J. Larkin M.D!

Dr. Larkin’s clinical expertise is in primary and revision hip and knee replacement and treatment of the young adult, including hip arthroscopy and open hip preservation surgery.

Dr. Larkin attended Yale University where he played varsity soccer and graduated with honors in biomedical engineering.

He then obtained his medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed his orthopedic surgery internship and residency at Henry Ford Hospital, all in Detroit, MI. Dr. Larkin did his fellowship training in Joint Preservation, Resurfacing, and Replacement at Washington University in St. Louis, MO…

And, he received his FAAOS designation in 2020!
